v1.0.575

Patch Released October 29, 2026

The SSL check now asks public DNS, so it no longer says a domain points here when it does not

  • Includes everything in 1.0.574.

Bug Fixes

2
  • Before issuing a website certificate the panel checks whether the domain points at this server. That check asked the server's own DNS service, which keeps a local copy of the zone for every hosted domain — including domains whose real DNS is at another provider. It therefore read back its own answer and reported that the domain pointed here when it did not, and the certificate attempt then failed with a confusing 404 from the other provider. The check now asks public DNS, so it tells you plainly when a site is hosted elsewhere, before an attempt is made.
  • The same check looked only at the first address a domain publishes. A name can publish several, and an IPv6 record left behind at a previous provider is the one Let's Encrypt tries first. All published addresses are now considered.
