Panel Interface

v4.5.295

Patch Released August 18, 2026

The runtime pages now say where a version lives, which one is default, and which lines no longer receive updates.

Improvements

4
  • Installed Node.js and Python versions show their location on disk and their size. Without this a customer could not tell the panel's own runtime apart from one installed by the distribution - both are commonly present on the same server.
  • The default version is marked, and any installed version can be made the default.
  • Versions that no longer receive updates are marked "End of life" in red, and Node lines in maintenance are marked as such. Previously every non-LTS line, including ones that ended years ago, was labelled "Current".
  • Searching the package manager for software the panel manages itself - Node.js, Python, PHP, web servers, databases - now warns that installing the distribution package leaves a second copy the panel neither manages nor updates.

Bug Fix

1
  • The Python versions page said versions came from python.org. They come from the python-build-standalone project; the wording is corrected in all 31 languages.
