The Repair Tool can hand the mail greeting back to the panel.

Nueva funcionalidad

  • Repair Tool: a new check reports when Postfix greets the world with a name pinned at install time instead of the one the panel maintains, showing both names, and offers a button that hands the greeting back. A wrong greeting is what gets mail refused or filed as spam.

Mejora

  • The greeting is still never rewritten on its own. A few servers greet with their install-time name and that name is better than one we would derive, so the repair waits for the operator to ask for it.

Corrección de errores

  • That correction was previously only reachable by saving the server hostname — which did nothing when the hostname was already correct, exactly the case that needs it. A customer found this: "I did have to change the hostname, keeping the same and saving was not enough."
