Panel Backend
v1.0.561
Choose and change the Google Drive backup folder; backups no longer go into a folder in Google Drive's trash
New Feature
1- Google Drive destinations: the backup folder can be chosen and changed. Basic mode uses Google's folder picker, Advanced mode a folder browser inside the panel, and both can create a new folder.
Improvements
3- A chosen folder must take a test write (a small file is written and removed). A folder that is in the trash, missing or not writable is refused.
- When the folder of a saved destination changes, the backup files Panelica uploaded move to the new folder: Google Drive only changes their parent, nothing is copied and your own files are not touched. A failed move is put back and the destination keeps its folder; the change is refused while an upload is running.
- Reconnecting Basic with the same Google account keeps the chosen folder.
Bug Fix
1- A backup folder put in Google Drive's trash was still used: uploads landed in the trash and the connection test reported success. Uploads now stop with a clear error when the folder is in the trash or deleted; the setting is not changed silently.
