v1.0.577
The name the server greets other mail servers with (HELO) is maintained in one place again. Installations made between 2026-04 and 2026-11 carried a fixed greeting that no setting could change; new installations are correct from the first boot, and an existing server is only changed when its operator saves the hostname.
Corrections de bugs
6- The installer no longer pins smtp_helo_name in Postfix, and removes a line an older installer left behind.
- Postfix, the mail certificate and the panel now derive the mail server name from one place instead of three.
- A two-label public suffix (example.com.tr, example.co.uk) is no longer mistaken for the customer domain, which also corrects mydomain and the sender of local mail.
- A machine name without a letter top-level label, or with a trailing root dot, no longer produces a nonsensical mail domain.
- Postfix settings whose value contains Postfix variables ($myhostname, ${data_directory}) are written with their content intact.
- Applying the update does not change the mail identity of a running server; the greeting is corrected only when the operator saves the hostname or the SMTP server name.
