Panel Backend
v1.0.551
Panelica Shield malware scanner, customer PostgreSQL databases with pgAdmin, multi-server management and a major backup and restore overhaul.
New Features
8- Panelica Shield: a new malware scanner that uses maintained public malware signatures plus Panelica's own, with live scan progress, the matched lines for every finding, and quarantine and restore.
- Customer PostgreSQL databases (port 5432) next to MySQL, with one-click pgAdmin. PostgreSQL databases are included in account backups and restores.
- Customers can change the password of their MySQL and PostgreSQL databases.
- Multi-server (Enterprise): connect other Panelica servers and manage their accounts, domains and email accounts from one panel.
- Backups: choose remote destinations for a manual backup, optionally delete the local copy once every upload has finished (full backups), and keep remote copies for their own retention period.
- The backup encryption key can be exported (password confirmed) and imported on another server, so backups encrypted with the panel key can still be restored after moving or losing a server.
- Webmail opens in the panel language, and one-click webmail login is available from the External API and the CLI.
- The default welcome page of a new domain opens in the visitor's language.
Improvements
3- Encrypted backups are written and read as a stream, so memory use no longer grows with the size of the backup.
- Granular restore can restore whole folders, always keeps a safety copy of the current file, database or mailbox first, and never writes through symbolic links.
- SFTP backup destinations remember the server key and refuse to connect if it changes.
Bug Fixes
14- Scheduled backups now remove their own old backups according to retention. One failing domain no longer fails the whole run, and an incomplete backup is reported together with what is missing.
- Remote upload progress moves while the upload runs, and uploads interrupted by a restart no longer stay stuck.
- A restore keeps the account home directory closed to other accounts and, if interrupted, no longer removes a domain that existed before.
- One-click webmail login no longer loses the session on the first request.
- A DKIM entry whose key file is missing no longer holds back all mail of that domain; it is cleaned up on startup.
- Mail folder settings left by the withdrawn 1.0.549 testing build are repaired automatically.
- The first mail login after a PostgreSQL update no longer fails temporarily.
- Docker domain links follow a container after it is recreated.
- The PHP service list no longer reads every PHP-FPM binary into memory, which could use about 900 MB and lock up small servers.
- Servers started from a cloud marketplace image move the primary IP to the machine's real address.
- No failed system units after boot on Ubuntu 26.04 and on AWS images.
- Restarting the panel no longer stops unrelated processes whose command line contains the panel path.
- A manually renewed licence applies new features immediately.
- A one-time login no longer sends you back to the login page, and switching to a user no longer briefly shows the administrator view.
Security Fix
1- Security hardening of the panel database, External API access lists, mobile app pairing and licence limits.
