Panel Backend

v1.0.552

Minor Release Released October 4, 2026

Browse remote backups without downloading them, cancellable remote downloads, mail SSL from the External API and CLI, and safer database deletion.

New Features

4
  • Backups that are only in remote storage can be browsed without downloading the archive: the panel reads the small index uploaded next to each backup.
  • Downloading a remote-only backup now runs on the server: the progress is real, it can be cancelled (the partial file is removed), and it is still shown after a page reload. A second request for the same backup joins the running download.
  • Mail SSL certificates can be requested per domain from the domain SSL tab, the External API (/v1/ssl/domains/{id}/mail) and the CLI (panelica ssl mail status|issue). A new request right after a failed attempt waits a few minutes, to stay within Let's Encrypt limits.
  • A panel record whose database no longer exists in MySQL can be removed without touching MySQL.

Improvement

1
  • The OpsAI assistant knows the latest features (Shield, PostgreSQL, multi-server, backup key, remote browsing, mail SSL).

Bug Fixes

4
  • Deleting a database no longer drops a MySQL user that another database still uses; only its rights on the deleted database are removed.
  • A database that is listed in the panel but missing from MySQL no longer marks a backup as partial; the backup reports it as a warning.
  • Unfinished remote downloads left by a restart are cleaned up on startup.
  • The CLI works in External API mode again, and --config now writes the chosen configuration file.
