BIND 9.20.30 replaces the 9.18 line, which stopped receiving releases on 17 June 2026: 27 security fixes published since then are in 9.20 only.

2- The package is self-contained: OpenSSL 3.5.9, liburcu, libuv, libxml2 and libmaxminddb travel with it, so nothing has to be installed on the server and all nine supported systems run the same code.
- Checked on all nine supported systems: the configuration Panelica writes parses, zones are served and transferred only where allowed, the recursion ACL refuses a source it does not allow, rndc reloads a zone without a restart, and DNSSEC signing, verification and serving work end to end.

1- BIND moves to 9.20.30. The 9.18 line ended with 9.18.50 on 17 June 2026; the 27 security fixes ISC published after that date exist only in 9.20 and are listed on this release.
