"DNS Tab"
The DNS tab is the quick, domain-fixed view of Panelica's DNS tooling: the zone's records in a table, add and edit dialogs, and the zone tools right above them. For the full experience (search, inline editing, quick templates, SRV and CAA records), use the DNS Zones page; for everyday record changes while you are already in the editor, this tab is faster.
Domain Editor → DNShttps://YOUR-SERVER-IP:8443/domains/edit/DOMAIN-ID#dns| Type | Name | Content | TTL | Status | Actions |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| A | @ | 203.0.113.10 | 3600s | Active | edit · delete |
| MX | @ | mail.example.com | 3600s | Active | edit · delete |
What you can do here
The record table lists the zone with Type, Name (the root shows as @), Content, TTL, Priority, Status and Actions columns. Add Record opens a dialog with the essentials: record type (A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, TXT or NS in this view), name, content, TTL (3600 by default) and, for MX records, the priority. Editing opens the same dialog pre-filled; deleting asks for confirmation before removing the record.
The zone tools from the DNS page are here too: Validate checks the zone server-side, Reload BIND puts changes live in the DNS server immediately.
What stays on the DNS Zones page
This tab keeps things intentionally small. Searching and filtering records, inline row editing, the one-click quick templates, and the SRV and CAA record types all live on the DNS Zones page, which manages every zone on the server from one place.
Permissions
Creating, editing and deleting records are three separate domain-editor permissions; holding any of them makes the tab visible, and each button appears only with its own key.
