Master Connection
Master Connection is the page on the managed server. Trust is granted here, not taken by the master: the server decides which masters may manage it, from which IP addresses, and how much they may do.
Panel Settings › Master Connectionhttps://YOUR-SERVER-IP:8443/panel-settings#master_connection (ROOT only)What the page shows
- The address masters use to reach this panel, its host name and protocol version.
- Create Link Code, with an optional label. See Add a server.
- Codes waiting to be used, each with its label, creation time and remaining time, and a Cancel button.
- Connected master panels, with each master's allowed IP addresses, key, permission level, last use and connection date.
- Disconnected masters, kept as history.
Permission levels
| Level | The master may |
|---|---|
| Limited | See this server, create accounts and domains, and sign in |
| Full management | Everything in Limited, plus manage mail, DNS, SSL, Cloudflare, security settings, logs, services and FTP |
Use Allow full management or Limit on a master's row to change its level. Opening this server's pages inside the master window requires Full management; with Limited, the master opens them in this server's own panel instead.
Allowed IP addresses
A master's key is accepted only from its allowed IP addresses. Use Edit IPs when the master panel moves to a new address; enter one address per line.
Disconnecting a master
Disconnect stops the master's key immediately; the master can no longer manage this server. To connect again, create a new link code.
License
Being managed by a master needs a Professional, Business or Enterprise license on this server. If the license no longer includes it, connected masters cannot reach the server until the license is upgraded; the page says so.
